GitLab is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to lead relationships with enterprise-level prospects and customers in the energy, utilities, and manufacturing sectors. You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing strategic accounts within the energy, utilities, or manufacturing sectors. Your experience has equipped you with the ability to understand complex customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive value. You are adept at building and maintaining relationships with enterprise-level clients, ensuring their success with the products you represent. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. You are results-oriented and possess strong negotiation skills, enabling you to close deals effectively. You are passionate about technology and understand how it can transform industries, particularly through the use of AI in software development.

Desirable

Experience in the DevSecOps space or familiarity with GitLab's offerings would be advantageous. A background in the energy or utilities sectors is a plus, as is a network of contacts within these industries. You are comfortable using data to inform your sales strategies and can leverage analytics to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the charge in developing and nurturing relationships with GitLab's enterprise-level prospects and customers. You will be responsible for understanding their unique challenges and demonstrating how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform can address their needs. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product development, enhancing the overall user experience.
