Waabi is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 to assist in the design and analysis of mechanical systems for self-driving technology. You'll work with CAD software and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. This internship is ideal for candidates passionate about innovative engineering solutions.
You are an aspiring Mechanical Engineer with a strong foundation in engineering principles and a keen interest in self-driving technologies. You have experience with CAD software, enabling you to create and modify engineering drawings effectively. Your analytical and problem-solving skills are well-developed, allowing you to tackle complex engineering challenges. You thrive in collaborative environments, demonstrating a willingness to support your team members and contribute to group efforts. You are open-minded and eager to learn, ready to engage with innovative solutions in the field of AI and autonomous systems. A background in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a plus, as is familiarity with various designs for manufacturing processes such as sheet metal and injection molding.
