Carvana is seeking a Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience and offers a $6,000 bonus.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in heavy bodywork techniques. Your background includes extensive experience with heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and stud welding. You are skilled in roof and rocker panel repair, as well as large area bodywork, including Bondo repair. You are also comfortable training other autobody technicians, sharing your knowledge and skills to help them grow in their roles. You understand the importance of using state-of-the-art tools and techniques to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with various automotive bodywork techniques and tools is a plus. Familiarity with the latest automotive technologies and trends will help you excel in this role. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
As a Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on multiple panels of vehicles. You will utilize your skills in heavy plastic welding and metal pulling to ensure that vehicles meet the highest standards of quality. Your role will involve training and mentoring other technicians, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in automotive bodywork.
