What you'll do

In this role, you will review purchase requests and issue purchase orders promptly, ensuring that all orders are acknowledged by suppliers. You will analyze quotes to confirm they meet SpaceX's terms and conditions, and you will obtain original promise dates from suppliers to manage expectations. You will regularly review open order reports to track deliveries and resolve any invoice issues to ensure timely payments to vendors. Your responsibilities will also include expediting parts as necessary to meet production timelines and acting as a customer service representative for internal stakeholders. You will support buyers in cost savings initiatives and lead miscellaneous procurement projects as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the procurement process.
