FiscalNote is seeking a Research Contractor focused on APAC Healthcare Research, particularly in Greater China. You'll analyze healthcare policy reforms and compile datasets, requiring proficiency in both Chinese and English.
You are a diligent and proactive researcher with a keen interest in healthcare systems and business strategy in the Asia-Pacific region. You are comfortable handling information in both Chinese and English, allowing you to navigate complex policy changes effectively. While prior healthcare experience is a plus, it is not required as you are eager to grow your understanding of the healthcare landscape. You possess critical thinking skills that enable you to analyze healthcare policy reforms and reimbursement policies with precision. Your ability to communicate findings clearly will be essential in producing meaningful research outputs.
In this role, you will support the APAC Healthcare team by tracking and analyzing healthcare industry developments across Asia-Pacific, with a particular focus on Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. You will conduct ongoing research and analysis, primarily focusing on secondary research. Your responsibilities will include compiling and updating public healthcare datasets monthly, as well as contributing to policy translation summaries and data tracking reports. You will have the opportunity to create visual materials, such as charts and PowerPoints, that will be utilized by senior corporate clients and internal analysts. Daily coaching and feedback will be provided to help you develop your professional research and writing skills, ensuring you grow in your role.
This is a contract position lasting about six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. You will have the flexibility to work remotely from China, dedicating 20 to 30 hours per week to this role. The compensation for this position is approximately CNY 11,600 per month. You will be part of a collaborative and meritocratic team culture, where your contributions will directly impact the understanding of healthcare policies in the region. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
