Overview

WPP is seeking an Investigations Manager/Counsel for APAC & MENA to oversee compliance and risk management. This role requires strong leadership and a commitment to ethical standards.

Who you are

You have a strong background in compliance and investigations, ideally with experience in managing risk and compliance concerns across diverse geographies. You understand the importance of adhering to laws and regulations and are committed to fostering a culture of integrity within the organization. Your ability to collaborate with various teams and communicate effectively is essential in ensuring that compliance policies are understood and implemented across all levels of the company.

You possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Your experience in leading investigations and providing counsel on compliance matters will be crucial in this role. You are proactive in your approach and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all compliance issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

Desirable

Experience in a multinational corporation or a similar environment is a plus. Familiarity with the APAC and MENA regions will enhance your ability to navigate the complexities of compliance in these diverse markets. A legal background or relevant certifications in compliance will be advantageous.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the investigations team within WPP’s business integrity function, focusing on identifying, corroborating, and remediating risk and compliance concerns. You will champion compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, ensuring that the company’s ethical standards are upheld. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough investigations, analyzing findings, and providing actionable recommendations to senior management.

You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that compliance policies are effectively communicated and understood. This involves training staff on compliance matters and fostering a culture of accountability. You will also be responsible for monitoring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.

Your role will require you to stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices, ensuring that WPP remains at the forefront of compliance standards. You will prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, summarizing investigation findings and compliance metrics.
