Overview

Carvana is seeking an Experienced Auto Painter to join their team in Manville, NJ. You'll be responsible for professional automotive painting and blending adjacent panels. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive painting.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience, demonstrating your expertise in various painting techniques including base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats. Your skills in blending adjacent panels and paint correcting vehicles are well-honed, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, understanding the importance of delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

You thrive in a team setting and are eager to collaborate with others to achieve common goals. Your ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors enhances the workflow and contributes to a positive work atmosphere. You are committed to continuous improvement and are open to learning new techniques and technologies that can enhance your painting skills.

Desirable

Experience with state-of-the-art tools and technologies in automotive painting is a plus. Familiarity with high-tech inspection centers and a willingness to adapt to new processes will set you apart. What you'll do

As an Experienced Auto Painter at Carvana, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, applying various types of paint, and ensuring that each vehicle meets the company's quality standards. You will work with a variety of automotive finishes, blending colors and correcting paint imperfections to achieve a flawless appearance. Your role will involve using advanced tools and techniques to enhance the efficiency and quality of the painting process.

You will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure that vehicles are ready for delivery to customers in a timely manner. This may involve coordinating with paint preppers and other automotive specialists to streamline the workflow. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in automotive painting.

What we offer

Carvana provides a competitive wage ranging from $28 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.
