*This role requires extensive business travel within Europe (both EU and UK), up to 40% of the time and a valid driver's license for cars, as well as ability to rent cars in Europe (paid for by Amazon)*

The EU External Fulfillment Team provides flexible, externalized warehouse services for the Amazon network. We are looking for a motivated Outbound Subject Matter Specialist to join the Operations Excellence "SMS" team.
The SMS team are providing launch support services as well as performance improvement support for third party logistics (3PL) warehouses in Europe (UK and EU). The Subject Matter Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering on that mission.

Key job responsibilities
- Support the Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) manager in analyzing metrics from reports and dedicated resolution plans
- Facilitate and drive the resolution of (mainly) Outbound configuration / set-up issues and process questions
- Support the external provider on a project basis for a specific process to improve, a tool to introduce, or a best practice to share
- Perform in-depth analyses or ad hoc data extractions for recurring issues requiring detailed analysis
- Ensure compliance of operational processes with the external provider through metric tracking, on-site audits, and requests for corrective/preventive actions
- Communicate new or modified processes to the external provider, provide training and troubleshooting assistance
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives of the outsourced warehouses team (e.g., documenting processes, improving internal tools)
- Use benchmarking standards and continuously train to develop subject matter expertise
- Act as the main Amazon process expert on site during the launch of new 3PL sites
- Experience with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)- High school or equivalent diploma
- Expertise in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, AI, etc.
- Experience in logistics.
