What you'll do

In this role, you will set the vision for the Card Experiences and Platform team at Affirm, taking ownership of core engineering and business outcomes across established verticals. You will lead efforts to build card-related capabilities that drive growth and scalability for the business. Your responsibilities will include hiring and mentoring full stack engineers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to execute on the team's vision.

You will collaborate closely with product and business leadership to identify key initiatives that enhance card experiences and services. This involves balancing product expansion efforts with necessary platform investments, ensuring that the engineering team can handle high-scale operations and diverse use cases. You will establish a robust development lifecycle that promotes operational excellence, encouraging your team to experiment and learn from failures.
