At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. The Worldwide Sustainability organization utilizes Amazon’s scale and speed to build a more resilient and sustainable company – and planet.

The Global IMPACT team—*I*ntegrated *M*arketing, *P*artnerships, *A*ction, *C*ommunications, and *T*he Climate Pledge (TCP) —establishes Amazon’s leadership in corporate sustainability by demonstrating how we use our size and scale to have a positive impact on people and the planet. This team works both within Amazon and externally on partnerships and joint initiatives.

Our team is seeking a Principal, Engagement Manager to lead our strategy across LATAM and build a strong presence in the region. The candidate should have extensive experience driving regional strategy, leading through ambiguity, and the ability to make high judgement decisions. This includes partnering with public policy, recruiting new companies to sign the Pledge, engaging existing signatories, identifying, promoting and driving participation in joint action opportunities, and externalization of the work, results and impact across the company, in partnership with critical stakeholders.

We’re looking for a big thinker who is comfortable with ambiguity and an excellent writer who can influence and maintain enterprise-wide strategy and execution. The role requires exceptional judgment and curiosity and will be committed to continually improving their knowledge of and adding value to The Climate Pledge community, while striving to educate and inspire target audiences to unite under The Climate Pledge.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead The Climate Pledge strategy for LATAM including recruiting, engagement and integration with Amazon programs
- Engage companies that are interested in learning more and/or signing The Climate Pledge in region
- Educate key regional audience about The Climate Pledge
- Partner with Public Policy, AWS, Retail, Ops and other Amazon stake holders to integrate the Pledge in region
- Engage with Global Optimism and other key partners to establish best practices and help companies understand how they can meet the goals of The Climate Pledge
- Work with the broader IMPACT team to generate materials and information that is useful to potential and current signatories
- Identify and implementing appropriate processes to ensure an efficient and effective workflow
- Facilitate meetings with all levels of management both internal and external
- Allocate, managing and tracking budgets
