Amazon is a leading e-commerce technology company dedicated to empowering businesses worldwide. We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager to join Amazon Global Selling team in Japan, with a specific focus on supporting Japanese sellers in their international expansion through Amazon's stores.

Job Overview:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing products and programs that address key pain points for Japanese (JP) sellers looking to expand their business globally. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, define product requirements, and oversee the entire product lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on the needs of JP sellers in the global marketplace.

Amazon's mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company, with a key focus on supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs worldwide. Through our Seller Services, Selling Partners can list and sell products on Amazon, reaching millions of customers worldwide. Amazon Global Selling enables these businesses to expand internationally across Amazon's 24 global websites supporting 27 languages. More than half of all items sold on Amazon come from the millions of small and medium-sized businesses that have chosen to grow their business on Amazon. Since its launch, the service has shown continued year-over-year growth, helping sellers reach hundreds of millions of customers around the world and giving the smallest of businesses the opportunity to compete next to the biggest household brands in our store.


Key job responsibilities
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap focused on solutions for JP sellers' global expansion through Amazon's stores
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of JP sellers' needs, challenges, and opportunities in global markets
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to create tailored solutions for JP sellers
• Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on JP sellers' pain points and business objectives
• Create detailed product specifications and user stories that address the unique needs of JP sellers in global expansion
• Manage the product backlog and work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions
• Analyze product performance metrics and JP seller feedback to drive continuous improvement
• Present product strategies and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, with a focus on JP seller success stories
• Mentor junior product managers and foster a culture of innovation within the team, particularly in cross-cultural business solutions

Japan Global Selling team, or Japan to Worldwide team, is tasked to unlock a massive business opportunities for Japanese Sellers by supporting them to bring their products and brands to the world. Our vision is to be Earth's most customer-centric gateway for Japanese brands and sellers.

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Deep understanding of cross-border e-commerce and global trade regulations
