The Siri team is looking for an engineering project manager (EPM) to help us build the next generation of Siri. As a member of our organization, you will lead teams crafting future products that will delight, inspire, and empower millions of people to leverage the power of AI.
Description
In this role, you will drive cross-functional programs and feature areas in Siri's Machine Learning and AI technologies across all Apple products You will partner with engineering management to lead projects through the software development lifecycle from concept to delivery.
You should bring solid experience in system software, machine learning, and project management, strong communication and leadership skills, and a track record of driving and delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously. You should demonstrate high integrity, high energy, and feel comfortable in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.
As an experienced project leader for various complex and at times highly ambiguous technical projects, you will need to build strong collaborative relationships within the organization as well as cross-functionally, and confidently and calmly manage any conflicts and challenges along the way. You will be responsible for successful outcomes and delivery, driving your projects with a keen eye for important details and communicating clearly on status and risks.

Minimum Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Program Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project or program management, leading cross-functional software engineering or machine learning modeling teams in large organizations to deliver consumer or enterprise technology products. Candidates should be comfortable structuring new programs and leading multiple work streams independently.
Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of system architecture, design trade-offs with thorough understanding of testing, build and release processes for complex software or machine learning models.
Strong Leadership: Proven ability to lead, influence, and resolve conflicts within large, complex teams. Must demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a product mentality.
Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and the ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity or prior experience in any of the following areas is desirable: artificial intelligence, machine learning, and accuracy evaluation
Prior experience in hands-on software or model development is desired
Excellent collaboration skills, working together with different teams, and fostering trust
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Curiosity and passion for new technologies, and proven ability to quickly understand technical concepts
