Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician

Who you are

As a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician, you will be responsible for performing cycle audits and executing incoming and outgoing deliveries. You will coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors and document inbound and outbound deliveries as instructed by management. You will also initiate warranty claims and process returns on failed equipment, allowing you to build a working knowledge of inventory management principles and warranty process management. You will be part of Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team, which powers the cloud services that support products like Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Microsoft Azure. What you'll do

Coordinating security escorts for third-party vendors will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that all deliveries are secure and properly documented.

You will document all inbound and outbound deliveries as instructed by management, maintaining accurate records that are essential for inventory management. Initiating warranty claims and processing returns on failed equipment will also be part of your daily tasks, allowing you to gain hands-on experience in warranty process management.
