You understand the importance of preventative maintenance and building inspections, and you have a proactive approach to addressing maintenance issues before they escalate. Your strong communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including property teams, residents, and third-party vendors. You are detail-oriented and organized, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Desirable

Experience in a similar role within the hospitality or property management industry is a plus. Familiarity with vendor management and contract negotiations will enhance your ability to manage unit turnovers and maintenance contracts effectively.

What you'll do

As the Maintenance Manager at Placemakr, you will be responsible for the overall execution of engineering and maintenance excellence at your property. This includes overseeing proactive maintenance efforts and ensuring that all onsite experiences are positive for employees, residents, and guests. You will manage the workload of technicians and unit work orders, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

You will conduct regular building inspections to identify maintenance needs and implement preventative measures to maintain the property’s standards. Your role will also involve planning and executing unit turnovers, coordinating with vendors to ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality. You will be the point of contact for any maintenance-related issues, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with property teams to ensure that maintenance operations align with overall property goals. You will also participate in biannual in-person get-togethers with remote teams, fostering a collaborative environment across the organization.
