Carta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Limited Partner Portfolio Analytics team. You'll be involved in building software solutions for private markets investors. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in software development.
You have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in building scalable applications that meet the needs of users in the private equity and venture capital sectors. In this role, you will join Carta's R&D team, focusing on the Limited Partner Portfolio Analytics group. Your primary responsibility will be to develop software solutions that help fund investors manage their documents and turn them into structured data. You will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that the software meets the needs of users and provides valuable insights into their investments. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment, and will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the product.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your work will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the development process, ensuring that the software is reliable and performs well under various conditions.
As part of your role, you will stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve the software and the development process.
