Handshake is seeking Recreational Therapists to contribute to an AI training project. You'll leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models and provide structured feedback. No AI experience is required, and the position is fully remote.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience as a Recreational Therapist, where you've designed and implemented therapeutic activities tailored to patients' needs. Your background includes monitoring and documenting patient progress, which gives you the context needed to evaluate and train AI models effectively. You are comfortable working independently and can adapt to flexible hours, averaging between 5 to 20 hours per week. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to deliver clear and structured feedback that enhances AI understanding of workplace tasks and language.
In this role, you will contribute to an AI research project by leveraging your expertise in recreational therapy. You will develop prompts for AI models that reflect your field and evaluate the responses generated by these models. Your insights will help improve the AI's understanding of therapeutic practices and language. The work is asynchronous, allowing you to manage your time effectively while contributing to the project. You will also have the opportunity to learn new skills related to AI and its applications in your field. As projects open periodically, your placement will depend on availability, providing you with the flexibility to engage when it suits you best.
