Amazon's EU Supply Chain team is seeking a results-driven Senior Program Manager to lead our Non-Useful Inventory (NUI) reduction efforts across our European Fulfillment Center network. This role will be critical in optimizing our storage capacity and improving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, cross-functional leadership experience, and the ability to drive complex programs with significant business impact.
Key job responsibilities
* Develop and own an ambitious cross-functional program to reduce NUI holding by a defined amount each year
* Create and maintain metrics and visibility mechanisms to monitor progress towards NUI reduction goals
* Own periodic reporting (WBR/MBR/QBR) to inform senior stakeholders (up to Director for MBR, up to stores VPs / operations VP for QBR) of progress and escalate blockers as needed
* Coordinate weekly across supply chain teams to match available labor with NUI reduction goals
* Engage with local teams to identify and implement grassroot opportunities for NUI removal
* Anticipate periods of capacity constraints and maximize removals before constraints materialize
* Define the long-term trajectory for NUI, including projections for 3-year forecasts and beyond
* Partner with long-term network planning teams to define the optimal topology for managing unsellable inventory
* Collaborate with technical teams to identify, scope, and prioritize new features that drive the highest removal return on investment* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Research, or related field
* Experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience in data analysis and interpretation
* Excellent project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
* Strong oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences* MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field
* Experience with Amazon's fulfillment network or similar large-scale logistics operations
* Proven track record of driving results in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
* Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices
* Experience with data visualization tools and BI platforms
* Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
* Willingness to travel occasionally to sites across EU
