Unanet is seeking a Senior Product Owner to enhance the customer experience for their GovCon ERP platform. You'll manage cross-team initiatives and define product features while collaborating with various stakeholders. This role requires strong coordination and product strategy skills.
You have a proven track record as a Senior Product Owner, ideally with experience in ERP solutions or similar platforms. You understand the intricacies of managing complex, cross-team initiatives and have a knack for aligning multiple stakeholders towards a common goal. Your ability to research, define, and design requirements through epics and user stories is second nature to you. You thrive in environments where you can partner with Product Managers to translate the 'Why' into the 'What', ensuring that engineering teams have the clarity they need to execute effectively.
You are adept at validating functionality and workflows, ensuring that the solutions you deliver truly address customer needs. Your understanding of customer profiles and user personas allows you to prioritize high-value functionality that resonates with users. You are comfortable managing a product backlog, grooming it regularly, and facilitating iteration planning efforts to keep the team aligned and focused.
Experience in the GovCon sector or familiarity with government contracting processes would be a significant advantage. You are familiar with agile methodologies and have experience working closely with engineering teams in sprint activities. Your collaborative spirit and strong communication skills enable you to set your engineers up for success, guiding them through estimation and prioritization processes.
In this role, you will own the definition and delivery of specific features for Unanet's ERP platform tailored for GovCon customers. You will manage complex initiatives that require deep coordination across Unanet’s product portfolio, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards shared objectives. Your responsibilities will include researching and defining requirements, creating detailed user stories, and collaborating with Product Managers to understand the overarching product strategy.
You will help define quarterly objectives and deliverables, working closely with your team to validate that the functionality being developed meets customer needs. Your role will involve understanding customer profiles and user personas to ensure that the features you prioritize deliver high value. You will also manage the intake of work to your product backlog, facilitating grooming sessions and iteration planning to keep the team focused and productive.
