Unity is seeking a Junior Software Quality Engineer to join their Bisection Team. You'll be responsible for testing Unity Editor and various device platforms while improving quality processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality.

As an entry-level Software Quality Engineer, you recognize the importance of efficient workflows and processes, and you are eager to grow your understanding of quality in software engineering. While not mandatory, any experience with testing software or familiarity with various device platforms such as Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS would be beneficial. A background in software development or quality assurance processes will also help you thrive in this role.
In this role, you will join the international Release Quality Assurance group as part of the Bisection Team. Your main responsibility will be to handle source code bisection services to identify code changes that result in specific Unity tooling behavior changes. You will be testing the Unity Editor and various device platforms, pinpointing specific code changes that affect functionality. Additionally, you will leverage various internal tools to deliver impactful insights across the development organization. You will maintain and improve documentation and communicate effectively within and outside the team to enhance quality culture and provide insights on workflows and technical issues encountered along the way. There is also the possibility to work on data report generation and development, contributing to internal tooling development or leveraging AI tools for key insights.
