Overview

Elastic is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive new account acquisition and revenue growth. You'll be responsible for building your own pipeline and closing complex deals. This role requires strong sales execution and technical fluency.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are skilled at opening new accounts and driving revenue growth. Your experience includes developing and executing proactive outbound strategies to generate leads and opportunities. You are adept at conducting deep discovery and qualification to uncover customer pain points and decision criteria, ensuring you focus on high-confidence deals. You possess strong storytelling abilities, capable of crafting tailored narratives and delivering impactful demos that resonate with potential clients.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with product offerings. Your technical fluency allows you to effectively communicate the value of Elastic's Search AI Platform, making complex concepts accessible to diverse stakeholders. You are results-driven, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Desirable

Experience in the AI or search technology space is a plus, as is familiarity with frameworks like MEDDPICC for deal qualification. You are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and have a knack for building relationships with key decision-makers. A background in working with consumption-based models will further enhance your ability to succeed in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own a defined territory and be responsible for building your own sales pipeline. You will develop and execute a proactive outbound cadence through various channels, including email, calls, and social media, to generate at least 50% of your booked opportunities. Your role will involve deep discovery and qualification of leads, where you will uncover pain points, business impacts, budgets, and decision criteria using established frameworks. You will focus on crafting and delivering tailored narratives and live demos that effectively communicate the value of Elastic's offerings.

You will collaborate closely with other teams to ensure alignment in messaging and strategy, leveraging your technical fluency to bridge the gap between sales and product. Your ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder deals will be critical to driving revenue growth in the ANZ region. You will also be expected to track and report on your sales activities and outcomes, continuously refining your approach based on performance metrics.
