Berkadia is seeking a Senior Product Designer to drive user experience and interaction design for their AI-powered platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and apply best practices for designing with AI. This role requires strong design skills and experience in user research.
You have 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to drive user experience and interaction design. Your expertise includes hands-on discovery and research methodologies, allowing you to uncover user needs and business problems effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to create innovative solutions. Your understanding of AI-driven features and the unique challenges they present makes you a valuable asset in shaping technology solutions. You are driven by curiosity and a desire to challenge the status quo, eager to make an impact in the commercial real estate industry.
Experience with AI-powered platforms or tools is a plus, as is familiarity with the commercial real estate sector. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design process, from discovery through delivery. You will lead deep-dive discovery efforts in the CRE Production Workflow space, utilizing workshops, user interviews, and data analysis to inform your design decisions. Your focus will be on ensuring transparency, usability, and trust in AI-driven features, addressing the unique challenges that come with AI-based tools and workflows. You will collaborate with fusion teams, including product managers, engineers, and architects, to support the development of Berkadia’s AI-powered platform, Berkie. Your role will involve iterating on designs based on user feedback and data insights, ensuring that the final product meets user needs and enhances their experience.
