Sr. Solutions Engineer

You have a strong background in data engineering and analytics, with at least 5 years of experience in a solutions engineering role. Your technical expertise includes proficiency in Apache Spark and Python, allowing you to effectively demonstrate how Databricks' platform can address customer needs. You excel at building relationships with clients, understanding their challenges, and providing tailored solutions that drive business value. Your experience with cloud technologies and big data analytics positions you as a trusted advisor in the field. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with sales and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Desirable

Experience with additional technologies such as Docker, SQL, and Elasticsearch is a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure will enhance your ability to integrate solutions within the wider ecosystem. You are passionate about data and eager to contribute to a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

In this role, you will engage with clients to understand their data challenges and demonstrate how Databricks can help them achieve their goals. You will conduct hands-on evaluations of the platform, showcasing its capabilities in data science and analytics. Collaborating with Account Executives and Senior Solutions Architects, you will provide technical and business value throughout the sales process. Your contributions will include creating customized solutions that align with client needs and fostering excitement about the Databricks platform. You will also play a key role in building the Databricks technical community by participating in workshops, seminars, and meet-ups, sharing your knowledge and expertise with others.
