You have a strong background in RDBMS administration and performance analysis, with experience in SQL Server or PostgreSQL. You are skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing database systems, and you have a keen interest in ArcGIS Enterprise technology. You are eager to expand your knowledge in other RDBMS products and related technologies, including NoSQL and cloud-native solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with teams to solve complex technical challenges. Your analytical mindset allows you to diagnose issues effectively and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance system performance.

What you'll do

As a Technical Consultant at Esri, you will serve as a key resource for customers utilizing ArcGIS Enterprise systems. You will focus on RDBMS and eGDB refactoring, analysis, and optimization, ensuring that clients' database systems are running efficiently. Your role will involve working closely with a team of System Engineers to provide consulting services that include enterprise migration and troubleshooting. You will analyze database changes during migrations, which may involve data centers, machines, and software releases. In troubleshooting scenarios, you will determine if issues stem from the RDBMS and contribute to diagnosis and optimization efforts. You will have opportunities to grow your skills in ArcGIS Enterprise technology layers and other relevant data-tier technologies, making a significant impact on clients' operations.
