Samsara is hiring a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales and bring IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires experience in sales and a passion for technology.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and navigating complex sales processes. Your ability to build relationships with executives and CXOs is key to your success. You thrive in a role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and you are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders throughout the sales cycle. You are motivated by the opportunity to impact industries that are crucial to the global economy, and you are excited about the potential of IoT technology to transform operations.
You possess strong negotiation skills and are adept at managing trials and proof of concepts (POCs). Your experience includes handling sales ranging from $20k to $100k, and you are familiar with the intricacies of pricing negotiations. You are willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and close deals. You are looking for a role where you can make a significant impact and contribute to the growth of a pioneering company in the IoT space.
Experience in industries such as agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, or manufacturing would be advantageous. Familiarity with sensor data and its applications in improving operational efficiency is a plus. You are a self-starter who is eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment, and you are excited about the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales efforts in the mid-market segment, focusing on bringing the benefits of IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Samsara's products can enhance their operations. Your responsibilities will include managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer requirements. This includes conducting product demonstrations, managing trials, and negotiating pricing agreements. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
Your role will require you to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings, allowing you to position Samsara effectively in the market. You will be expected to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the company.
