Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role, where you've successfully managed a pipeline and built long-term partnerships. Your strong communication skills allow you to effectively pitch and onboard new clients, particularly in the SMB sector. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with cold-calling, email outreach, and in-person meetings to achieve your sales goals. You understand the importance of being an ambassador for the brand, and you take pride in representing Uber Eats positively to potential partners.

You are results-driven and have a history of exceeding sales quotas. Your ability to integrate feedback from cross-functional teams helps you drive adoption of services among high-profile partners. You are adept at managing contract negotiations, ensuring that both parties establish a strong foundation for collaboration. You are also comfortable using CRM tools like Salesforce to track your progress and manage your pipeline effectively.

Desirable

Experience in the food delivery or restaurant industry is a plus, as it gives you insights into the unique challenges and opportunities within this market. Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and metrics tracking will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. What you'll do

In this role, you will own and manage a pipeline of strategic mid-market restaurant groups, focusing on signing new partnerships in the Chicago area. You will engage in at least 50 cold calls per day, supplemented by emails and in-person meetings, to build relationships with potential partners. Your primary responsibility will be to pitch the value of Uber Eats to restaurant owners and decision-makers, demonstrating how the platform can enhance their business.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights and feedback that will help you tailor your approach to each potential partner. Your goal is to create a great first impression and act as an ambassador for Uber Eats, ensuring that new partners understand the benefits of joining the platform. You will also manage the contract negotiation process, establishing a strong working relationship with each restaurant group you onboard.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to achieve and exceed monthly quotas, as well as your effectiveness in building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. You will be expected to proactively manage your metrics, including cold calls, emails, and field appointments, to ensure you are on track to meet your goals. Your contributions will directly impact the growth of Uber Eats in the Chicago market, and you will play a key role in expanding our network of restaurant partners.
