Overview

Adyen is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage relationships and close deals with international merchants. This role requires a proven track record in enterprise sales and expertise in selling complex SaaS solutions in the Italian market.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in an enterprise sales role with over 5 years of experience, specifically in selling complex SaaS end-to-end solutions in the Italian market. You are a motivated individual who thrives in a team environment and enjoys working collaboratively to achieve common goals. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders alike. You are independent and proactive, taking ownership of your responsibilities and driving results. You understand the importance of innovation and are eager to creatively drive solutions for merchants across various industries.

Desirable

Experience in the financial technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with the payment solutions landscape. You are comfortable with networking and traveling as needed, approximately 25% of the time, to meet clients and attend industry events. You have a strong understanding of the sales cycle and are adept at managing relationships with large international merchants.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the full sales cycle with our largest merchants, from the prospecting stage to closing deals. You will creatively drive innovation for merchants in retail, digital platforms, and financial services, becoming an expert in selling Adyen's world-class financial solutions. You will partner with technology leaders and solution providers while working closely with our Sales Support, Implementation, and Account Management teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients. Your role will involve regular travel to meet clients and network within the industry, allowing you to build and maintain strong relationships.
