Overview

Klaviyo is seeking a Senior Director of GTM Strategy and Planning to drive growth across product lines and customer segments. You'll collaborate with senior leaders in various departments to define and operationalize the GTM vision. This role requires a deep understanding of high-velocity SaaS business models.

Who you are

You have a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives in a high-growth environment, ideally within the SaaS industry. Your experience spans over 10 years in roles that required a blend of strategic thinking and operational excellence, allowing you to navigate complex business landscapes effectively. You possess strong analytical skills and can translate data into actionable insights that drive decision-making. Your leadership style fosters collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities and execution. You are comfortable working with senior executives and can prepare materials for board meetings that clearly communicate strategic objectives and progress. You understand the nuances of the customer lifecycle and are adept at developing strategies that enhance customer acquisition and retention.

Desirable

Experience in a similar role within a tech company is a plus, as is familiarity with various customer segments and global markets. A background in marketing or sales operations would also be beneficial, as it complements the GTM strategy focus of this position. You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments and can adapt strategies based on market feedback and performance metrics.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development of Klaviyo's integrated GTM strategy, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards common goals. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders in Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Finance to operationalize the GTM vision at scale. Your responsibilities will include defining key performance indicators for GTM initiatives and tracking progress rigorously to ensure accountability across the organization. You will also play a crucial role in preparing materials for board meetings, translating strategic priorities into clear execution plans. As you drive the company's operating cadence, you will ensure that strategic priorities are communicated effectively and that teams are equipped to execute on their objectives. Your insights will help shape the company's approach to market expansion and customer engagement, ultimately contributing to Klaviyo's growth trajectory.
