Quantitative Business Intelligence Technology (QuBIT) is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. We support North American Fulfillment Network, GCF Aces, Customer Experience, and other Central Operations business units with data solutions to solve complex business problems.
Key job responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence Engineer at QuBIT, you will:
- Design, develop and manage scalable data solutions including pipelines, analytics tools, and dashboards
- Build and maintain infrastructure for regular reporting on business performance
- Conduct deep dive analyses to test hypotheses and uncover actionable insights
- Create near real-time analytics capabilities to drive rapid decision making
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and deliver impactful solutions
- Serve as a technical specialist and insights provider, bridging the gap between business and technical teams
This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging problems at scale and make a significant impact on Amazon's operations.- 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Bachelor's degree in sciences, engineering, finance or equivalent- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Experience designing and implementing data architecture solutions
- Understanding of basic data science techniques including statistical analysis, forecasting, and machine learning concepts
- Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets in a business environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or related quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
