Pantheon is hiring a Software Engineer II for their Developer Experience team to enhance their platform's integration with version control systems. You have a solid background in software engineering, with experience in building and maintaining web applications. You are passionate about continuous learning and enjoy working with a diverse technical stack. You have a desire to build new features and push the capabilities of the product forward, ensuring that products are reliable and well-tested. Your writing skills are strong, allowing you to communicate effectively with your team and document your work clearly.
Experience with version control systems like GitHub and GitLab is a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud, will help you succeed in this role. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to a team that values innovation and quality.
As a Software Engineer II on the Developer Experience team, you will focus on improving the core software that customers use to deploy code and interact with Pantheon’s platform. You will enhance Pantheon’s ability to integrate with GitHub, GitLab, and other external version control systems, ensuring top-tier performance and stability. You will work on building new services and maintaining existing ones, keeping Pantheon at the cutting edge of web development. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features that enhance user experience for developers and content creators.
You will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to ensure the quality of the software. You will also engage in troubleshooting and debugging to resolve issues that arise in production. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of the Pantheon platform, making it easier for users to manage their websites effectively.
Pantheon offers a competitive salary range for this position, with a base salary between 103,206 and 129,008 CAD per year. You will have the opportunity to work remotely from Canada, allowing for flexibility in your work environment.
