Carvana is hiring an Automotive Detailer / Lot Attendant for entry-level positions in Bessemer, AL. You'll be responsible for detailing vehicles, moving them within the inspection center, and taking photos for customer visibility. This role offers a starting pay of $15/hr and various employee benefits.
You are looking for an entry-level position in the automotive industry and are eager to learn and grow with a fast-paced company like Carvana. You possess a valid driver’s license and are able to read, write, speak, and understand English. You are ready to take on responsibilities such as detailing vehicles, moving them around the inspection center, and ensuring they are presented well for customers.
While no specific experience is required, any familiarity with automotive detailing or customer service would be a plus. You are a team player who is willing to collaborate with others to ensure the best outcomes for the company and its customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for detailing vehicles, which includes washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing to ensure they meet Carvana's high standards. You will also serve as a Lot Attendant, moving vehicles from one department to another within the inspection center, ensuring a smooth workflow. Additionally, you will take photos of the vehicles to help customers see them in the online spinners, and inspect the vehicles for any imperfections or defects, accurately reporting your findings.
You will receive training programs designed to help you develop your skills and advance your pay as you grow with the company. Your schedule will typically be Monday through Friday from 6 am to 3 pm, but you should be prepared for mandatory overtime based on business needs.
