SAP S/4HANA Archiving Consultant

Who you are

You have proven experience in SAP Data Archiving and SAP ILM in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments — you understand the intricacies of data management and have successfully implemented archiving strategies in previous roles. Your strong understanding of S/4HANA migration processes, especially related to data management, allows you to identify archiving opportunities effectively. You possess hands-on experience with ArchiveLink, Content Server, and Storage Management, which enables you to configure and manage SAP ILM tools efficiently. Additionally, your knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, and compliance regulations ensures that you can support data retention policies and legal compliance requirements. You are capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment, demonstrating excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

Experience with performance tuning and system optimization through effective archiving is a plus. Familiarity with various SAP modules such as FI, MM, and SD will enhance your ability to analyze existing data volumes and identify archiving opportunities across these modules.

You will configure and manage SAP ILM tools, supporting data retention policies, legal compliance, and audit requirements. Conducting performance tuning and system optimization through effective archiving will be part of your responsibilities. You will also provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
