Databricks is seeking a Senior People Generalist to support managers across the organization by delivering effective people solutions. You'll focus on enhancing leadership and performance while fostering an inclusive culture. This role requires expertise in employee lifecycle management and coaching.
You have a strong background in people operations, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a generalist role. You understand the complexities of the employee lifecycle and are skilled in providing coaching and consultation to managers on performance management, team dynamics, and employee engagement. Your ability to simplify processes and enhance manager performance is key to your success in this role. You are committed to fostering an inclusive culture and ensuring that people practices align with company values.
Experience in leveraging technology and AI to improve people processes is a plus. You are familiar with operational efficiencies and have a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with various stakeholders, including People Business Partners and Tech groups.
As a Senior People Generalist at Databricks, you will play a critical role in supporting managers throughout the employee lifecycle. You will provide expert coaching on performance management processes, guiding managers through key employee events such as internal mobility and exit interviews. Your focus will be on delivering thoughtful people solutions that empower managers to navigate challenges confidently. You will also partner with key stakeholders to evolve the manager service catalog, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience through shared services and automation.
Your responsibilities will include identifying operational efficiencies and leveraging technology to provide timely insights for managers. You will work closely with People Business Partners to support ad hoc business needs, including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. Your role will require you to stay updated on best practices in people operations and continuously seek ways to optimize processes for manager performance and experience.
