Your communication skills are strong, allowing you to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with hardware design tools and validation frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with the manufacturing processes involved in chip production. You may also have a background in software development, which enhances your ability to work closely with software teams to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software components.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the functional validation of Microsoft’s cutting-edge SoC designs. You will define validation strategies, develop test plans, and execute validation tests to ensure that the hardware meets performance and reliability standards. Collaborating with design engineers, you will provide feedback on design improvements based on validation results, contributing to the overall quality of the products.
You will also work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure that validation processes align with production capabilities, helping to streamline the transition from design to mass production. Your insights will be crucial in identifying potential issues early in the development cycle, allowing for timely resolutions that minimize delays and costs.
Additionally, you will participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss project status, share validation findings, and collaborate on solutions to any challenges that arise. Your role will be pivotal in supporting Microsoft’s mission to deliver high-quality cloud infrastructure solutions that empower customers worldwide.
