Overview

HubSpot is seeking a Manager of Solutions Engineering to lead a team of Solutions Engineers in driving execution of value-selling strategies. This role requires strong leadership skills and a data-driven mindset to enhance customer outcomes.

Job Description

Who you are

You are an experienced Solutions Engineering manager with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. You bring strong process rigor and a scientific, data-driven mindset to your work. Your passion for coaching and developing teams is evident in your approach to leadership. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to support complex customer situations and are skilled at inspecting the quality and impact of your team's work. You understand the importance of building scalable inspection processes that elevate the entire segment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately eight Solutions Engineers. Your primary focus will be on achieving Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) attainment and improving win rates while delivering exceptional customer value. You will drive proactive inspection of your team's impact and execution quality, ensuring alignment with the value-selling methodology. Regular growth conversations, performance reviews, and career development planning will be part of your responsibilities. You will also run weekly team meetings, facilitate onboarding, and maintain a strong culture of accountability, excellence, and collaboration.

As a strategic deal advisor, you will partner directly with Solutions Engineers, jumping into complex customer situations as a technical sponsor. You will coach your team in delivering value-based storytelling and positioning value throughout the sales cycle. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the right outcomes for customers and ensuring consistent achievement of the Technical Win motion.
