You have a proven track record of successfully building and managing a presales team, demonstrating your ability to lead and develop talent in a fast-paced environment. Your experience partnering with sales organizations has equipped you with the skills necessary to drive revenue through effective collaboration and strategic thinking. You excel at communicating complex, business value-focused solutions, ensuring that your team is well-prepared to support complex sales cycles. You understand the importance of building relationships with key partners in large corporations, and you are committed to fostering a motivated and collaborative culture within your team.

You are adept at coaching new sales and pre-sales teams to work together effectively, enhancing their overall effectiveness and ensuring alignment with the company's goals. Your leadership style promotes a customer-obsessed approach, emphasizing teamwork and diversity within your team. You are passionate about hiring, coaching, and developing talent, and you thrive in a hyper-growth environment where you can make a significant impact.

Desirable

Experience in the technology sector, particularly in data and analytics, is a plus. What you'll do

As a Field Engineering Manager at Databricks, you will lead a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects, guiding them in their efforts to expand the company's presence in Switzerland and Austria. You will be responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing your team, fostering a collaborative culture that embodies Databricks' values. Your role will involve supporting increased return on investment for Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles, ensuring that your team is equipped to deliver solution and value-based selling.

You will engage with key customer executives to build and strengthen strategic partnerships, ensuring close alignment with partners and internal services to secure implementation strategies within accounts. Your leadership will be crucial in promoting Databricks' brand as a member of the Leadership team, working in partnership with Marketing and Sales teams across the region. You will also be involved in enhancing your team's effectiveness, providing guidance and support as they navigate complex sales cycles and build relationships with key partners.
