SalesLoft is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their high-performing sales team. You'll partner with sales executives to showcase the platform's value and manage technical aspects of the sales cycle. This role requires strong relationship-building skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

You have a strong background in managing the technical aspects of the sales cycle, which includes completing deep business and technical discovery. You are skilled in driving technical solution mapping and demonstrations, executing on technical validation, and conducting proof of concept exercises. Your expertise in demonstrating our platform to diverse audiences is complemented by your ability to respond to RFIs/RFPs and build business value assessments. You are excited about the opportunity to advise customers on sales strategies, tactics, and technical architecture, contributing to their success and satisfaction.
While not mandatory, experience in a similar role within the sales technology sector would be advantageous. Familiarity with sales strategies and technical architecture will further enhance your ability to succeed in this position.
As a Senior Sales Engineer at SalesLoft, you will play a pivotal role in our sales team, partnering closely with sales executives to showcase the value of our platform. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering compelling presentations to executive audiences, ensuring that you effectively communicate the technical capabilities and advantages of our solutions. You will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of the sales cycle, which involves conducting thorough business and technical discovery sessions with potential customers.
You will drive technical solution mapping and demonstrations, ensuring that prospects understand how our platform can meet their specific needs. Your role will also involve executing technical validation and proof of concept exercises, allowing customers to see firsthand the value our solutions can provide. You will respond to RFIs/RFPs, building business value assessments that highlight the benefits of our offerings.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will provide consulting to customers on sales strategies and tactics, helping them navigate their challenges and achieve their goals. You will build strong relationships with some of our largest prospects and customers, advising them on technical architecture and ensuring they have a positive experience with our platform.
