Job Description

Do you have a passion for social media and marketing? Do you have experience driving value using paid advertising? Amazon’s Central Marketing Organization is looking for a seasoned marketer to join our Social Marketing team to help build our growing social media advertising programs. The Social Marketing team is focused on leveraging all viable social media advertising platforms to grow Amazon businesses. The team is looking for a top notch marketer who can create a set of successful channel strategies, execute well-structured tests, roll out successful campaigns, and optimize performance over time against a clear set of performance goals.

In this role, you will be focused on creating a social media strategy for mid-funnel content, with the goal of driving performance metrics for Amazon. You will collaborate with social media apps (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Snap, and more) to run experiments, and work with engineering to scale up successful strategies. You will be experimenting with inspirational content such as video and editorial images to support Amazon’s multiple business lines across the US.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in digital marketing, A/B testing, and excel in looking at data and making recommendations. Furthermore, you will be highly innovative and comfortable driving new programs from conception through execution in an ambiguous and fast paced environment.

Key job responsibilities
- Create the paid social marketing strategy for mid-funnel content, particularly influencer content.
- Define experiment learning agendas and optimize campaign set ups to drive meaningful insights.
- Optimize programs to reach efficient ROI.
- Work directly with social networks to launch new product betas and explore marketing potential.
- Advise creative teams on best practices for paid social content.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and teams to iterate on objectives and opportunities.
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience with paid media and owned and operated channels (i.e. email, onsite, etc.)
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
- Bachelor's Degree- Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
- Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
