SageSure is hiring a Premium Accounting Representative I to manage collections and disbursement activities. You'll process premium payments and invoicing while utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and Excel. This entry-level position requires a high school diploma and attention to detail.
You are a detail-oriented individual with a high school diploma or equivalent, ready to take on the responsibilities of a Premium Accounting Representative I at SageSure. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with team members and clients. Your ability to calculate figures and amounts related to accounting functions is strong, ensuring accuracy in all transactions. You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, which you can navigate and use effectively to manage data and reports. If you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related area, that would be highly preferred, along with 1-2 years of experience in a business environment.
In this role, you will manage SageSure's collections and disbursement activities, ensuring that invoicing policies are adhered to and premium payments are processed accurately. You will handle various payment methods, including ACH, credit card, and lockbox transactions. Additionally, you will process cancellation notices in accordance with established guidelines and manage autopay plan enrollments. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing, researching, and processing return premium transactions, as well as advising on returned mail, checks, and payments. You will support the business through Microsoft Teams and take on other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.
