Who you are

You have a strong background in procurement, with a focus on General & Administrative functions. Your experience includes leading strategic sourcing initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with corporate objectives. You possess deep expertise in professional services, facilities management, and real estate services, which enables you to drive cost efficiencies and ensure high-quality infrastructure and services. You are based in Dublin and are comfortable with a hybrid working model, planning to be in the office approximately two days per week.

You excel at analyzing spend data and identifying opportunities for cost savings. Your ability to partner with stakeholders in Legal, HR, Finance, and Workplace functions allows you to understand corporate goals and develop effective sourcing strategies. You are detail-oriented and have a proven track record of managing procurement processes under tight deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of services and infrastructure.

Desirable

Experience in vendor sourcing and contract negotiation for physical workspace projects is a plus. Familiarity with procurement software and tools will enhance your ability to analyze data and optimize procurement processes. You are a strong communicator, capable of articulating procurement strategies and collaborating effectively with various departments.

What you'll do

As a Procurement Manager at MongoDB, you will lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities for our General & Administrative functions. You will collaborate closely with leaders in Legal, HR, Finance, Workplace/Facilities, and Real Estate to develop and implement tailored procurement strategies that align with corporate objectives. Your role will involve managing procurement for global office expansions and facilities maintenance, ensuring that vendor sourcing and contract negotiations are executed efficiently and effectively.

You will analyze G&A department spend data to identify cost savings and work with stakeholders to achieve them. Your expertise in professional services and facilities management will be crucial in developing sourcing strategies for a variety of indirect categories, including outside legal counsel, benefits providers, office security, janitorial services, and construction/fit-out vendors. You will be responsible for ensuring that procurement activities drive cost efficiencies while maintaining high-quality infrastructure and services.

In this role, you will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation within the procurement function. You will play a key role in fostering a collaborative environment where procurement strategies are aligned with the overall corporate strategy, contributing to the success of MongoDB.
