You are adept at developing strategies based on first principles and have a proven track record of ensuring compliance with standards such as SOX, PCI DSS, and FedRAMP. You are familiar with engineering tools like Jira and Confluence, and you understand the importance of collaboration tools in enhancing team productivity. Your technical expertise includes Identity and Access Management and securing cloud environments, which are critical for the role. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a keen eye for optimizing processes and systems.

Desirable

Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices is a plus. Familiarity with observability tools and practices will help you in building and scaling cloud infrastructure effectively. You are also knowledgeable about secret management and collaboration tools, which are essential for maintaining enterprise security.

What you'll do

As the Head of Corporate Engineering, you will lead a highly technical team responsible for enterprise engineering and operations on a global scale. Your primary focus will be on securing the enterprise by collaborating closely with the Enterprise Security organization to harden and secure cloud environments, manage secrets, and ensure compliance with various standards. You will measure success through the continuous improvement of enterprise security hardening standards.

You will also be responsible for building and scaling cloud infrastructure, which includes establishing Infrastructure Provisioning, implementing SRE services, and providing 24/7 on-call support. Your team will utilize Infrastructure as Code practices to ensure efficient and reliable cloud operations. You will drive the adoption and integration of engineering tools, ensuring that your team is equipped to deliver high-quality results.

Collaboration with R&D will be key, as you will manage engineering tools like Jira and Confluence to enhance team efficiency. You will influence technical direction and foster a culture of innovation and excellence within your team. Your leadership will be crucial in navigating the complexities of a scaling enterprise environment, ensuring that your team is aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
