Carvana is seeking a Reconditioning Manager to oversee daily operations within their Inspection Center in University Park, IL. You'll manage a team to ensure high-quality vehicle reconditioning processes. This role requires strong leadership and operational management skills.
You have a proven track record in operations management, particularly in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or inspection environment. Your experience includes overseeing teams and ensuring that operational goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. As the Reconditioning Manager at Carvana, you will oversee the daily operations of the Inspection Center, ensuring that all aspects of the vehicle reconditioning process are executed efficiently and effectively. You will lead a team of at least five leads and up to 70 front-line associates, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals. Your responsibilities will include monitoring production metrics, maintaining quality standards, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. You will also be responsible for fostering a positive work environment that encourages associate engagement and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure that the reconditioning process aligns with Carvana's mission of delivering a no-hassle, better car buying experience.
