SpaceX is seeking a Supervisor, Production (Stage 2 Integration) to oversee shop floor activities and manage a team of technicians. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in production management.
You have a proven track record in production supervision, with experience managing teams and ensuring workflow efficiency. Your ability to resolve nonconformance issues and document rework processes is essential. You are skilled in assessing the necessary skillsets for stage integration and identifying training needs to develop effective training programs. You understand the importance of monitoring labor hours and implementing improvement plans to enhance time management within your team. Your focus on fostering cooperation between shifts and departments contributes to a positive work environment.
In this role, you will supervise shop floor activities, ensuring daily schedules and workflows are met. You will lead and manage a team of technicians, handling all performance management tasks. Your responsibilities will include reviewing work instructions and making recommendations for changes when necessary. You will provide data and reporting to support departmental metrics and improvement objectives, while also accomplishing production results through effective communication of job expectations. Additionally, you will develop and implement cost reduction processes and efficiency improvement measures, while continuously improving safety and efficiency through regular audits.
