Databricks is hiring a Sales Development Representative to manage inbound leads and qualify prospects. You'll leverage your communication and organizational skills in the Cloud, big data, and ML/AI space.
You are a goal-driven professional with at least 1 year of experience in a sales or customer-facing role. You possess clear written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with prospects and understand their needs. Your excellent organization skills enable you to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that you manage a high volume of inbound leads efficiently. You are self-motivated and have a history of meeting goals, demonstrating a team-first attitude and a genuine curiosity in the Cloud, big data, and machine learning/AI space. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but your drive and discipline are what truly set you apart.
As a Sales Development Representative at Databricks, you will manage your queue of inbound leads, researching them online and calling to understand their needs. Your primary goal will be to qualify their interest and create opportunities for Account Executives. You will learn to identify technical pain points in prospects' current Data + AI solutions and connect them to the value of the Databricks platform. You will demonstrate adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organization, building credibility and trust with partners. You will also learn how to anticipate and overcome objections, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the core values of Databricks to prospects.
