Overview

Asana is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join their team in Warsaw. You'll have the opportunity to work on web, desktop, or mobile projects while benefiting from mentorship and growth programs. This role requires some experience in software engineering.

Who you are

You are a recent graduate from a Technical University with some experience in software engineering. You are eager to learn and grow within a collaborative environment, and you possess strong accountability and self-motivation. You thrive in team settings and are excited about contributing to impactful projects that enhance the way people work.

You have a passion for building software and are interested in both web and mobile development. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies, and you are ready to engage in code reviews and design discussions to promote solid engineering practices. You are a big thinker who enjoys tackling complex problems and delivering elegant solutions.

Desirable

Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, or Python would be a plus. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git can also enhance your candidacy. You are enthusiastic about participating in internal boot camps and mentorship programs to further develop your skills.

What you'll do

In this role, you will produce high-quality design and code to build features that drive Asana's mission forward. You will work closely with a world-class team of engineers, balancing engineering craftsmanship with execution and stakeholder alignment. You will drive impactful projects from inception to completion, ensuring that you communicate effectively with your team and contribute to design reviews.

You will support your colleagues by providing mentorship and participating in code reviews, helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will also strategize the future of Asana's product, contributing your ideas and insights to enhance user experience and functionality.
