Okta is seeking a Senior Developer Marketing Specialist to build marketing strategies for Auth0 Developers. You'll collaborate with various teams to drive customer acquisition and advocate for developer-centric features. This role requires strong knowledge of the identity landscape and marketing initiatives.
You have a strong background in marketing, particularly in the tech industry, with a focus on developer engagement and customer acquisition. Your experience includes building marketing strategies that resonate with developers and understanding their unique needs. You are a lifelong learner who thrives on collaboration and can effectively communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner. You are passionate about advocating for developer-centric features and have a deep understanding of the identity landscape and how it impacts developers.
You possess excellent writing skills, enabling you to create compelling non-technical content such as web copy, demos, and videos that effectively communicate the value of Auth0's solutions. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and developer-led growth teams, to ensure alignment and maximize the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Your ability to stay informed about industry trends and developer use cases allows you to inform strategy and execution effectively.
Experience in a similar role within the identity or authentication space is a plus. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms will enhance your ability to execute successful campaigns. You are also encouraged to bring your unique experiences to the table, contributing to a diverse and inclusive team environment.
In this role, you will build and execute the marketing strategy for Auth0 Developers, collaborating closely with the broader marketing team to drive customer acquisition. You will act as a bridge between the marketing teams and the Developer Led Growth (DLG) Self Service team, ensuring that the marketing strategy aligns with DLG funnel goals. Your responsibilities will include partnering with marketing for nurture campaigns, webinars, social media, and blog posts that highlight how Auth0 supports startups, developers, and nonprofit organizations.
You will champion the developer experience by advocating for Auth0's developer-centric features both internally and externally. This includes leading product and feature launches and creating market-validated content that resonates with developers. Staying informed about the identity landscape and Auth0 solutions will be crucial as you inform strategy and execution.
You will also create, roll out, and maintain various forms of non-technical content, ensuring that it effectively communicates the value of Auth0's offerings. Your role will involve continuous collaboration with different teams to ensure that marketing initiatives are aligned with product developments and market needs.
