Hims & Hers is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join their pharmacy team in Gilbert, Arizona. You'll be responsible for compounding sterile medications under pharmacist supervision, adhering to safety protocols and facility SOPs. This role requires knowledge of USP 797 standards.
You are an energetic and dependable individual with a foundational understanding of sterile compounding practices. Your knowledge of USP 797 ensures that you can compound medications that are safe and effective for patients. You thrive in a team environment and are committed to adhering to safety and environmental procedures as outlined in the site SOPs. You understand the importance of wearing appropriate PPE while executing daily tasks and are detail-oriented in your approach to compounding sterile medications.
As a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be an integral part of the pharmacy team, compounding sterile medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will perform component preparation, formulate solutions, and conduct aseptic filling of the solutions. Your responsibilities will include inspecting and packaging filled units, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to facility SOPs. You will also engage in daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities that contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of the pharmacy operations.
