Hopper is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their Commerce team and help redefine B2B travel. You'll design and build scalable travel portals using JavaScript and React. This role requires strong ownership and collaboration skills.
You have 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable applications that enhance user experiences. Your expertise in JavaScript and React allows you to architect and review code for high-performance, multi-tenant platforms. You thrive in a culture of autonomy and innovation, where you can identify performance levers and propose new product capabilities. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and understand the impact your code has on millions of users from day one.
You possess excellent collaboration skills, working seamlessly with Product Managers and Designers to explore engineering improvements that drive partner growth. Your ability to lead initiatives from concept to deployment ensures that projects are executed efficiently, with a focus on maximizing engineering velocity. You are passionate about creating solutions that not only meet technical requirements but also enhance the overall user experience.
Experience with cloud platforms and familiarity with e-commerce systems would be a plus. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can further enhance your contributions to the team.
