Overview

Axon is seeking a L&D Program Manager for U.S. Sales Readiness & Growth to enhance onboarding and enablement programs. This role requires strong leadership and process-oriented skills to ensure the success of the sales team.

Who you are

You are an experienced leader with a strong background in learning and development, particularly in sales environments. You have a proven track record of designing and implementing effective onboarding and training programs that drive performance and engagement. Your process-minded approach allows you to create seamless experiences for new hires and existing team members alike. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about empowering others to succeed. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to facilitate sessions and lead discussions effectively. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of a growing organization while maintaining a focus on quality and results.

Desirable

Experience in the technology or public safety sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with sales processes and methodologies. You may have certifications in instructional design or training facilitation, which would enhance your ability to deliver impactful programs. A background in project management can also be beneficial, as you will be responsible for overseeing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the end-to-end strategy and delivery of U.S. Sales onboarding, everboarding, and enablement programs. You will ensure that every sales representative and leader ramps effectively and continues to perform at a high level. This includes facilitating onboarding sessions, leading recurring touchpoints, and providing ongoing support to new hires and their managers throughout the full 90-day journey. You will develop a deep understanding of Axon’s sales processes and team structures to tailor your programs accordingly. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership to identify skill gaps and training needs, ensuring that your initiatives align with the overall business objectives. You will also leverage data and feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness of your programs, making adjustments as necessary to meet the evolving needs of the sales organization.
