Neuralink is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to create and optimize facilities for innovative brain interface devices. You'll work with HVAC, plumbing, and process utility systems in Austin. This role requires expertise in mechanical design and facility optimization.
You have 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, particularly in the context of facilities and infrastructure. Your background includes creating detailed designs for HVAC, plumbing, and utility systems, ensuring they are fully integrated with manufacturing processes. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet both short and long-term needs. Your organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining a high level of detail in your work. You are passionate about design and construction, and you are excited about the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking technology at Neuralink.
Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is highly desirable, as these tools will be essential in your day-to-day responsibilities. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Neuralink, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing facilities that support the development of cutting-edge brain interface devices. You will bring conceptual designs to life, producing detailed designs for HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and process utility systems. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices in design and construction.
