Google is seeking an AI Sales Specialist to drive the growth of their AI business in Tokyo. You'll leverage your experience in AI and Data Analytics to build and expand customer relationships. This role requires fluency in Japanese and a strong background in sales.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 7 years of experience in a sales role where you've consistently exceeded business goals. Your background includes 2 years of experience in engineering or promoting AI or Data Analytics technologies, showcasing your ability to support executive relationships and develop new territories or accounts. You are fluent in Japanese, enabling you to effectively manage client relationships in the region, and you also possess the ability to communicate in English to interact with international stakeholders. Your negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills are excellent, allowing you to navigate complex discussions with ease.
Experience in prioritizing, planning, and organizing solution-based business activities within business cycles is a plus. You have a strong understanding of Generative AI business and knowledge of market trends, products, and solutions related to Cloud and AI. Your experience in engineering or promoting AI SaaS platforms or Cloud AI technologies, along with your ability to work with internal and external teams, will set you apart.
As an AI Sales Specialist at Google, you will play a crucial role in growing the AI business by building and expanding relationships with both new and existing customers. You will work closely with customers to deliver business value, demonstrate product functionality, and provide insights into key business use cases. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing account plans informed by the responsible AI framework across your assigned territory or market. You will manage multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously, gaining a deep understanding of each customer’s technology footprint, strategy, growth plans, business drivers, and competitors. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams, including account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal, to inventory existing software estates and build compelling business cases for transformation with implementation plans.
